Julis Wu has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science, and an A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering, all from Elmira College, New York, where he held a Summa Cum Laude scholarship,  and incomplete graduate courses in Finance, from PUC São Paulo.

Julis accumulates 20 years in business unit managing director roles in Private Equity (GMR Participações), and Telecommunications (Telefonica Espagna), and sales and marketing director roles in Mobile Telecom (Motorola), and Information Technology (Anixter), building their Brazil presence and running some of corporation’s most profitable business units.

In addition, as an entrepreneur, he built over 12 years  eight apparel retail/franchise stores supported by two plants, and a start-up in the nascent solar energy engineering/procurement/construction industry. These years led to extensive experience in international trade.

His career started in the course of five years, in export/import sectors, in Pneumatics (Firestone Tire & Rubber) and Earthmoving Equipment (Caterpillar Tractor), where he assumed middle-management roles in sales and product management.

Julis joined Sausalito International’s Trading Division in 2020, with the mission to explore and develop new trade opportunities and methodologies, in new products and markets, and integrating them into current lines of business.

He is fluent in English and Portuguese, and is based in São Paulo, Brazil.
