Fabricio Ferraz Civil Engineer from Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo and pos- graduated in finance at IBMEC- Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets sponsored by Multiplic/Lloyds Bank. MBA Management and Leadership at Albert Einstein Israeli Institute of Teaching and Research.

 

Fabrício brings more than 20 years of experience in the Sugar and Ethanol Trading industry. He has been involved in the related areas of trading, finance and logistics and has a deep understanding of all risks associated to each and every step of sugar and ethanol trading since the cane fields until its final delivery. His international experience is extensive. He has developed commercial relations and has done business in several countries including USA, Belarus, Dubai, Indonesia, Pakistan, Switzerland and Venezuela.

Broad view of all aspects of commodities trading. While working for Copersucar he was responsible for the commercialization of its export operations in the amount of approximately 5 million tones of sugar and 1 billion liters of ethanol per year by 2005. These export sales included Copersucar’s contracts with trading companies and final destinations such as All Kaleej Sugar in Dubai. He as well managed a US$250 million portfolio in an investment fund designed to finance sugar mills all over Brazil.

Managing Director for the South American market for Eridania (Suisse) S.A., a sugar trading company. Founding partner of Vision Agro, an investment fund focused on agribusiness structured finance operations in Brazil. Prior to working for Vision Agro, he was as an international sugar and ethanol trader at Copersucar. He as well acted as a commercial regional manager (sugar originator) covering Paraná and the North/North East regions of Brazil while working for Coimex. Prior to that Fabricio was the Latin America Area Manager at Gill & Duffus SA, a sugar trading company based in Geneva.
